“We randomly chose The Place after spending a day at the beach. I read the reviews so I knew that the drinks were expensive. We still ordered the large $35 drink, which in Miami are fairly priced. The food was decent. The only complaints I had were that we ordered still water, which where we come from, means tap water. It came in a bottle, which isn't unusual to be refilled. But ended up being $8 each on the bill. At the end we asked for the check. Pedro ran the credit card and we added a 20% tip. Then we realized there was already a 20% service charge added to our total, so we asked Pedro to remove the additional 20% that we wrote on the slip. He began telling us that he doesn't get any of that service charge. That all goes to the owner. He asked us if we didn't like the service. We both knew that was B.S. so it took a couple of requests and a visit inside to have the extra tip removed. The service was good. But not 40% good.”

“As a Subway branch you get the usual sandwiches made to order. They deliver to Miami Beach area, has few parking spaces in front, inside tables and a restroom (needs attention and cleaning). Sometimes I like seating on the beach with their footlong sandwiches (that quickly go soggy, partly my fault for choosing too many sauce dressings) and a cold soft drink. They seemed not to have staff that spoke Spanish, considering the high density of tourists in this area x not that is my mother tongue. But as a business, it would be helpful, as was I helping translate the order to another customer. Funny really”

We discovered Lilikoi and decided to take a chance for dinner. Absolutely stupendous Eggs Benedict for me and Vegan Carbonara for my wife we served with a smile by the energetic hostess. Then, the suggestion for the vegan, passion fruit cheesecake was a winner indeed. We loved Lilikoi so much we came back the next day for lunch. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Absolutely love Barton G. Each dish that they bring out is more entertaining and A Conversation Piece than the next. I had the short rib and it was one of the best short ribs that I have ever tasted. There's so much to talk about with this restaurant you never know where to begin. The Ambiance is excellent. The food is top-notch. If you want to people watch you can do that as well. I am definitely coming back and we'll make it a habit to visit all of the Barton G restaurants.”
