They are the kind of people you just want to hang out with. The most friendly people in all of Miami. I would buy them all a round of drinks if they weren't working. There is a service charge and also a beach charge that is included in your final bill. However, the seafood paella was amazing; taste, portion and presentation making it a perfect dish for two. It could maybe feed 4 because they recommended not getting an appetizer if you order it. Our stomachs and to-go box were full”

Eli, the chef and his wife (the hostess/server) welcome you with a pleasantry like an old friend but remaining true to the business. I walked in with questions about their menu and what I should order and they guided me through the assortment of ingredients that were described clearly to me; tantalizing me as I read each one, causing me wanting to add another and another. “Great, affordable Cuban cuisine. I was thoroughly impressed with how good the food was. I ordered crispy (I think) chicken chunks which was paired with white rice, black beans, and sweet plantains. Whether the chicken was suppose to be crispy or not, it was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy. The whole meal was good to the last bite which was preserved because I had left overs. This place is a low key, quiet, must visit restaurant. Even if for lunch. They have a lunch menu! And they deliver! Staff was very accommodating and friendly. “If you want some really good Tex-Mex food, this place has it. I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit and took a guest for my second visit. The shredded beef burrito was excellent and, along with the excellent decried beans and rice (with a little salad on the side), it was a LOT of food! I also enjoyed the excellent salted margarita! You could taste the alcohol, but it didn’t overpower the lime flavor! The service was excellent, friendly and fast, but not too fast. I also really like the atmosphere - decor and music. It’s a little pricey and there is no lunch special Menu which I advised the owner that he needs. I would go much more frequently if there was a lunch Menus with lower prices. Overall, I recommend this place!”

“Didn't feel like this place lived up to all the hype and expectations based on other reviews. While dogs are good-sized, $7 for a dressed dog with no side is a bit pricey. I had the chili cheese dog, could have used more onion and chili was ok, but not overly flavorful. Granddaughter had the Swiss sausage & fries, which she liked. Definitely a little hole in the wall type of place and good for a quick bite before or after a beach break.”

“My spouse absolutely loved it. The plantain sandwich in the app section was huge they had to cut up in half. He was so full he couldn't order entry. I had grilled salmon delicious with white rice and this amazing high bowl of steamed veggies that had water chestnuts in it. All in all the food was awesome. The service not so much. There was only a few of us in their and you would of thought it was packed. Stay off your phone”
