The pizza was absolutely amazing. I had to Brooklyn thin crust. The spicy Caesar salad was also very good. The garlic rolls were nothing special. I wouldn't recommend those at all. (hence the four stars). I would definitely go back but absolutely will NOT order the garlic knots again. The pizza, Caesar, garlic knots, and four glasses of wine (two per person) produced a bill of $108.58. Bring your wallet. Staff was very nice.
I had been thinking about going to this pizza place for months now. We ate indoors. Very high ceilings with no sound dampening. In conjunction with the volume of the music which wasn't blasting but it was loud, had me and my dinner partner raise our voices in order to be heard. Had the music been just a little bit less having a decent conversation without strain would've been possible.
Excellent pizza. My review is based on their classic cheese pizza, but if their specialty pies with toppings is anything like the cheese, I'm certain they are all top tier. Perfect crust and undercarriage. The sauce was well done too. I would pass on the garlic knots, I've definitely had better, but pizza is well worth it. There is indoor and outdoor seating. No wait when I walked in around 4pm on a Sunday. I am definitely going to return to try a different pie
I spend my year split between New York and Miami - usually 8 months in NYC and 4 in the 305, give or take. I have a special place in my heart for both cities, and they both have their strengths and weaknesses, but New York has the clear edge when it comes to pizza. Anyone would be a fool to suggest otherwise. Or so I thought...
Eleventh Street Pizza is the first pizza place I've tried in Florida that I wish would open in New York. It's that good. The original location blew my mind when it opened over the pandemic, and their new spot in Downtown Dadeland is even better. I don't know what they're putting in the pizza, or what NASA-grade technology they used to build the oven, but their pies rival the best pizza I've had in New York and beyond.
I used to count the days before returning to New York and going back to Joe's Pizza, John's of Bleecker, and Di Fara. Now, at the end of my New York trips, I count the days before I get to return to Eleventh Street and scarf down a Brooklyn Cheese pie.
Finally some good pizza in Dadeland! They just opened and the new spot is very cozy and charming, perfect for a family outing or date night. Staff is friendly. I’ll never go anywhere else for pizza, this just ticks all the boxes.
Walked up and got in to see Eleventh Street Pizza's new spot in Downtown Dadeland during their friends and Family soft opening.
Menu works great in this larger slower paced location. We got the spicy Caesar salad and Pepperoni & Hot Honey pizza. Every bite was packed with flavor -- especially loved the play of the roasted onion with the hot Calabrian Chile and pepperoni.
And that dough... super airy and wonderful taste, could definitely tell it was fermented and well cared for. Will be back!
