Went here because we wanted to try the fried chicken and waffles, I guess it was only a special they had for a holiday.
We ordered the east & west coast oysters for an appetizer, the sauces that came with it was nice but I wouldn’t go back for them.
The drinks were decent, nothing to rave about.
The pork bao buns were amazing!!! The meat was soft and tender, and had a really nice complimentary sauce.
We also tried the octopus, it was really great, full of flavor- crisp on the outside and soft interior- however for the price the portion was really small.
We also ordered the papaya salad which was very tasty and had complimented the Vietnamese fried chicken we ordered along side of this to complete our meal.
Overall the food was good.
Water is an additional charge and without being told they brought it out to us- it’s $1 per person, no big deal..
****20% gratuity is automatically added to the bill*****
The management here was extremely attentive and kind. They made my friend’s birthday so special. We will definitely be back for the great food, atmosphere and exceptional staff
Amazing food and drink - I have no pics because I ate everything right away. I’d highly recommend the margaritas. I got the chick wings, pork belly and octopus - I would get all of those again happily. Also the staff there is beyond warm and friendly - I was so impressed with how attentive and kind everyone was, from the person who seated us to the general manager. I would highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a great local delicious night out.
Great and interesting spot. Nice selection of beers. Agree with the other reviews, this restaurant has some amazing looking food but feels like is missing something on the flavor side. It's not bad flavoring but maybe some acidity to round out their dishes may be the ticket.
The aesthetic of the place is really nice and they offer free parking which is just a nice touch in Miami. The food was excellent, boasting unique and flavorful ingredients. The only thing I would improve is the ambience and service technique. Our food came out all very quickly and all at once, which always makes me feel rushed. By the time we got to move onto the other dishes they were cold since they were just sitting on our table. I would have enjoyed a more relaxed service and with that being said, probably would have ordered much more if the food was spaced out better. I also found their pho to be ridiculously expensive — no matter how special it was.
Lastly, they have a nice cocktail menu but don’t give you the choice to swap out liquor choices which is a bit frustrating. All in all, I’d go back because the food was great but I’d ask for them to bring it out more slowly.
