“We went here for a cheeseburger lunch after seeing it featured on Diners Drive in's & Dives. It's literally a hole in the wall in darling Downtown Alameda serving deluxe gourmet burgers, whole and half chickens, French fries with homemade Wawa, macaroni and other fixings. They even have gourmet locally brewed soda on tap. This was easily the best burger and fries I've ever had!”

I wouldn't order the Oreo one again, it was way too sweet but I understand. “I liked it. Stopped here while waiting on an oil change since the only other option was a Dunkin’ Donuts. I had the iced coffee spiked with espresso and an almond croissant. The croissant was really good. Not at all greasy like other places make it rather the dough was soft and non greasy. It was also filled pretty generously with the almond paste so it was pretty satisfying overall. Make sure you ask for them warmed though, since they seem to give you the food room temperature by default. Cute place overall. Just make sure to tip the staff! They get a lot of college kids who probably don’t tip much (if at all) and leave the place a mess.”
