Island Tings Miami Gardens

Ordered oxtail with rice and peas with steamed cabbage. Everything was amazing as you can see I ate all of it, except the “steamed cabbage” was canned veggies and that’s a no for me. Everything else was delicious.

Salmon and shrimp pasta was excellent. The right amount of sweet savory and spicy. Paid ~$30 plate was heavy serving size was great. Sauce did not taste like cheese and milk like so other restaurants. Had it delivered food was still piping hot. Only wish it would of came with toast. Id give them a 4.5 but since theres no option they get a 5. Will definitely try again

This location just opening Oct 7th, and I see Big Tings! The same people that brought you Finga Lickings. This is an Island Vibe foreal. The food, the vibe , the feeling. Food fresh and delicious. I had the jerk ribs 🔥, peas&rice and Mac 😋and the drinks is a vibe itself. That Ginger Lemonade going have you talking Jamaican MON.

The jerk chicken roll is awesome. Oily but really good and the waffle fries are amazing…seasoning and all!! Hope this stay that way, not get like the Miramar location. We’ll soon see! Good luck!

yea..yeah now in the gardens, Island Tings!! Island and southern soulfood fusion its everything..... Lobster Mac and cheese! mic drop oh and the brown stew fish wah gawn!! dumplings, plantains, peas and rice, jerk this curry that... my new favorite for YARDI food shout out to da crew for making this happen!
