Being a fan of Trick Daddy I wanted to try out his restaurant while I was in Miami. I'm so glad I did. The fried cornish hen was delicious. The fried ribs with the in the shade lemonade was awesome. Also make sure you get the blue velvet cupcake you'll thank me later. I was so impressed with the service, cleanliness, the food of different choices. This is Soulfood at heart. I even took a picture with Trick Daddy!!

I want to give this place 4 stars since the staff turned out to be pretty nice, but when I think about how slow they were I change my mind. I came in maybe 30 minutes before closing. I wanted turkey wings but the guy said they were out so I chose meatloaf instead. I didn't have to taste the meatloaf to know I'd be dissatisfied but I did anyway. It was extremely dark and didn't even look like real meat. The lady said it's ground chuck but I have my doubts. As long as I waited you'd think it would've been better. I sent it back and got tilapia. They took forever to fix that too! I wouldn't come back just off their speed alone. Luckily, the fish was tasty. The mac and cheese wasn't the best, but it wasn't bad at all. It was very oily though. The greens were awesome. Unfortunately I was shorted due to the amount of meat in 'em. Huge disappointment. All in all I'd say my $11 was decently spent.

I kept hearing so much about this place. I had to come try it out. They food is amazing, it's perfectly seasoned. Even the tea and lemonade flop is good. I will definitely be back.

Very pleasant atmosphere, great food, and awesome customer service. I thought I was at my grandmothers house for a minute. It's better to go check it out for yourself.
