Varied fish and pasta and more menu. Chef came out to discuss options - was very focused on understanding our needs (we had a celiac who needed strictly gluten free food). The presentation was incredible. The array of flavours in the side dishes was really impressive. The service was very focused on us (we had flights to catch and they helped get us out on time). Ethan was very attentive and Asher the chef/mashgiach was incredibly passionate and capable. Definitely a hidden gem.

Amazing new kosher restaurant not far from the ocean!! Everything delicious with the most BEAUTIFUL presentation. Even the complimentary bread came with incredible sauces and roasted garlic. All the pasta and bread is made fresh and the fish is caught daily - and you can tell!

Thank you to our server Ethan who was kind, helpful, and pointed us to the right menu choices!

Our favorite was the pesto pasta and fresh bread. Also delicious - the branzino and fried cauliflower. Would definitely go back!

P.S. there is free validated garage parking.

Nice atmosphere overall. Very fishy even vegan items that are fried you taste fish so not advisable for someone that doesn’t like fish. The reason I’m giving a 3 star is because of the service the waiters were spaced out not even all the food ordered came out they forgot that we didn’t even remind them because we were full already. And they even charged for things that they didn’t have. They told me they don’t have it and we told him to take it off the bill.

L’amour is the best restaurant in the area! We discovered this place a few days into our vacation and quite certain that if we had discovered it on day 1 we would not have tried anywhere else. We ate here on our last two days in the area and would have loved to try everything on the menu.

The staff is friendly and we had the opportunity to meet just about everyone there. Mateo welcomed us into the restaurant and was attentive and helpful with our questions. We enjoyed getting to know him and he handled my husband’s jokes well. Gilbert checked on us several times and had great suggestions on menu selections. Everything on the menu looked great so he helped us narrow it down to a few great choices.

I had the Denise Fish (Sea Bream) and my husband had the Sea Bass. We shared both plates so that we could both experience the flavors. Oh my—soooooo good!!! The flavors are the most wonderful combinations I have experienced. The fish was fresh, moist, and tender and cooked to perfection. I could probably eat the sea bass every day; the flavors were like a party for my taste buds. The presentation is off the charts. The photos look like the plate is small but the meal comes out on a huge butcher block. We could barely finish our meal.

During our meal the chef, Asher, came out to greet us. He is the most delightful person and took the time to share his passion with us. His passion for cooking and creating flavorful masterpieces is evident as soon as he starts speaking. It is obvious he loves what he does and it will, without a doubt, satisfy your taste buds with every bite. (Asher, we mentioned to you that you may have some competition in Ft. Lauderdale. We stopped for lunch at the restaurant on our way to the airport. You don't have competition--you are the best!)

We enjoyed our meal so much that we chose to return for our last meal before heading out. I had the Three Branzino Tortillas and my husband had the Fried Lasagna. Again, we sampled each other’s meals. The lasagna was very good and my husband loved it. The tortillas were sooooo good; YUMMERS!!!! I like to try fish tacos everywhere I go and I have to say that these were the best I have had—hands down! Again, the perfect marriage of flavors, were off the charts delicious.

We wanted to try the ceviche when we placed our order but the sushi chef was not at the restaurant (we were there just before they opened). During our meal, the sushi chef arrived and we ordered the ceviche. Eden was happy to prepare ceviche for us. The presentation was beautiful and the fish was so fresh. Most ceviche has too much lime flavor for me. We had tried a variety plate at a local restaurant that is rated as one of the best ceviche in town but, in my opinion, the lime was all I could taste. If you prefer less lime, then you will love this version.

If I had the luxury, I would travel just to eat at L’amour—it is that good.

NOTE: The restaurant may be difficult to find. While we were there the L’amour sign had not been put up yet. It still had the previous restaurant’s name up. It is right by the Rose Café.
