The Beach Bar Newport Pier

Great date spot, the view is amazing and the pier is great to walk to down. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because the few times I've eaten there, the service has been less than stellar. They add an automatic 18% gratuity on your bill which is why I assume their servers literally do the bare minimum. Both times I saw my server maybe three times the entire time; once to take the order, once to bring the food, and once to check in and bring the bill lol. Definitely not 18% worthy

Great view of the sea and beach line. Get to see all the hotels on the beachfront. But you have to pay to get in if you aren't associated w the hotel attached to the pier or sunny isles resident. Luckily it's only $2 per person. You can also go fishing off the pier for an additional fee.

A bar beside the beach with a magnificent view of the sunset. Access to the pier afterwards and take a quiet stroll.

We had such a lovely time at the Pier during our visit to Sunny Isles! We went twice. Once at night for some oysters and the next day we went back with our friends. It was a beautiful day so we went for a walk along the beach and my husband enjoyed boogie boarding. The water is absolutely stunning. Walking on the pier is great. Tons of birds playing around searching for worms as there are tons of fishers on the pier. There is a nice restaurant you can sit inside or out and enjoy the views.
