Lazy Lobster Seafood Restaurant

Generally, quite good. But room for improvement. The lightly fried snapper but done a little more than lightly -- overdone to be exact. The baked red potatoes were a bit mushy, as if they were boiled instead of baked. My partner didn't much care for her grouper Lorenzo dish. The bread basket with banana bread was quite good. All and all, the meal was OK but could and should have been better, especially for the price.

I have to say I am not big fan of lobster, but I wanted to enjoy the local food. The service was good, the appetizers were good as well as different. We like trying new dishes. My husband had the alligator which he also enjoyed. Overall a good place to eat

The Lazy Lobster is a combination fish market and restaurant offering great fish options as well as a wide variety of lobster prepared in a variety of different ways. I arrived well after the dinner crowd on a Saturday night, and sat at the bar since I was eating by myself. The bartender was very friendly and made sure that I had great service at the bar.

After you place the order they brought a basket with a mini loaf of banana bread and butter. I had two pieces while I was waiting for my meal, and then decided to save the rest for desert at the end of the meal.

I was craving shrimp and oysters and found that they had great options of both. I ordered the oysters raw on the half shell. They had a great flavor with a nice salinity and served with cocktail and a mild horseradish. The oysters were varying sized with one being a little small than I would have expected.

The shrimp were cooked perfectly and had great texture. I ordered them warm and they were served with both cocktail sauce and clarified butter. I liked them best with the cocktail sauce and I thought that the serving size was generous.

Wonderful local place with great food! Key lime pie was out of this world, good. Outside patio is well ventilated with mister fans and fans on every corner. Music could be better... they had 90s grunge on when we were there. Food made it all better!

I’ve only had fresher seafood when I’ve gone and caught it myself. Great food, great service. The owner is very hands on in all aspects of his restaurant. Every server that passed our table checked on us to see if we needed anything. The food was amazing. All locally caught and harvested with the exception of the Maine lobster. The owner told me he drove over 60 miles just to make sure he had fresh, local lobster available for his customers that day. My only regret is that I hadn’t stopped at this place sooner. Very laid back and welcoming atmosphere. Great for the family. Highly recommend.
