The Fish House

This is an old school slice of Miami/Key Largo. Not many like this still exist. Great food and a vibe that brings you back to how Key Largo was 30 years ago. All the servers and customers are local and the catches come in daily so they only have the freshest catch. If you are a fish eater and love an oldschool throw back you are missing something if you do not stop here.

The smoked fish dip is the best we've had...anywhere. The tuna tartare is excellent. The oysters Moscow were very well done. The yellow tail snapper was well prepared. You'll spend more elsewhere, but you won't necessarily get better.

Excellent fresh fish dishes, toppings are great. Key lime pie is best I have ever had not too sweet, wonderful. Also, coconut ice cream is so creamy. Service was fast an very friendly. We ate here several times during our trip, not something we normally do.

The fish and seafood here was, hands down, the freshest and best tasting I've ever eaten and don't let me start about the Key lime pie... it was to die for! The interior of the place was very unique as well. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who love great fish and seafood alike.

This is a review of just the KEY LIME PIE: my dining partner and I spent 3 days in Key Largo and sampled key lime pie from 4 different establishments. This was my favorite of the 4. For me, the meringue put this one over the top. Just the right amount of tart. Just the right amount of sweet. FYI: The pie MUST be enjoyed with a cup of hot coffee which is the perfect compliment and resets your palate for the next bite. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
