The Buzzard's Roost

We went here for lunch after a snorkeling tour of the coral reef. The food was excellent. We had conch at other places and it was over cooked and rubbery, it was prepared well here. Fish tacos were great as well as the coconut breaded fish of the day.

Real good spot filled mostly with locals. Beautiful setting out back right on the water/marina, delicious food, and a good local beer selection. Definitely recommend stopping here on your way through the Keys.

Oh the food was simply amazing. Service was above expectations and the view!!!!! I had a dozen raw oysters and the fried seafood combination at the recommendation of my server. Outstanding.

Found on Yelp. It is hit or miss on Yelp based on season and staff for the day. We went in September (which is the slow season in the keys apparently) But we knew we had an awesome selection when customers of other tables talk to each other on the way out. That tells me that locals go there, which told me it was awesome. The food did not disappoint and it was delicious. Can't wait to get back to the keys!

Absolutely great flavorful food! From soup to fish to tacos to the appetizers. We loved it all. Very relaxing area by the marina and very cozy indoor seating as well. We must admit that it was a difficult decision on choosing the entree as there is great variety. Terrific service from entrance to farewell. George our server was great. Off the beaten path to find the hidden treasure. Would come back if a local! The only mistake you could make would be to drive through Key Largo and not stopping to eat at The Buzzard’s Roost!!
