Pinchers

Best seafood in key west. Spent less at latitudes on sunset key (that everyone raves about) and enjoyed the food here to what I expected there. This restaurant is right off Duval and is a hidden gem. We almost walked past it because the bottom level just looks like a bar (main restaurant is upstairs). It's air conditioned, has fun decor. Immense value. It wasn't super busy for Saturday night, but summer is the slow season here.
If I had any requests, it was we wished for more oyster variety than just gulf oysters.
Our waiter, Mateo, was awesome. Kept checking on us, getting our water, clearing plates that we finished to make space. He was also super helpful with local recommendations. He convinced my husband to share carrot are with me, he's a hero. The carrot cake is awesome and huge!

We went for lunch. No, wait, and we got to sit out on the deck. I ordered a margarita and to eat, Buffalo shrimp with rice(for him) and fries. He ordered the crab claws with garlic butter( does not come with a side. Our server was amazing and took great care of us. The food was really good, perfectly cooked shrimp and fries. The crab was not as sweet as I like but was good. They have so many options for food.

We came from Chicago and went to this cool place. All the staff are very friendly and did everything to create a good atmosphere. The food is also at a high level, everything is tasty and fresh. While there, be sure to try the Hot crab & cheese dip, the whole company took it and we really liked it.

This seafood restaurant is located upstairs with an amazing view of Duval Street from the patio. There is indoor and outdoor dining. This is where good food, great service, great time and great music meet in one place! This is a casual dining restaurant. I also found this restaurant to be more of the trendy crowd due to the cruise lines that docks near by. Filip J. was our server and he was superb. He gave us great suggestion for our meal. I wanted the crabs cakes but they were out. I went with the Cesar salad with grilled shrimp. The grilled shrimp were seasoned to perfectly. I had peach mango martini. The mixologist made a great cocktail 🍹 for me. I received a proper portion for the price of food. Because we were celebrating my sister’s birthday, one of the staff members drew a picture of a beautiful mermaid for my sister. There were a lot of cool signs and signs in neon lights throughout the restaurant. This restaurant understood the assignment of great food, great music and great service.

Overall, we enjoyed the Pinchers' experience. Located on 2nd floor, if you sit outside, you'll get great views of the street and sunshine. There are lots of birds around, so be ready for that. We had some brews and then cheesy crab dip, which was the best we had while in Key West. I would recommend that if u want to grab a bite and brew, sit back, people watch, and enjoy the sunshine.
