Southernmost Beach Resort

Great location and great hotel. We had easy check-in. We did not receive appropriate cleaning of our room the second night and the third night, We didn’t receive any type of room service. I had to go to the pool to get towels for a shower after I called the front desk twice and they told me somebody was on their way. Nobody ever showed up. We found A dried substance on the bathroom wall that appeared to be blood or vomit.

Our first time to Key West. Was a very nice resort. Staff are professional and very nice. There are three pools and the beach. We did not visit the restaurant or coffee shop.

There was three issues with the room. Shower drain was clogged but was fixed immediately once we notified them. Window was broken and would not close all the way to be able to lock securely. Lock for the balcony door was difficult at times. We chose not to update the resort on the window and door. Yes the staff should be aware of these when cleaning.

Location was excellent to Duval st. So not far to walk from one end of Duval to the other which is just a bit over one mile long.

Be aware you'll pay about 50% more on your per day room rate for fees, taxes, and parking.

My first solo vacation was to Key West and I chose this resort due to reviews and location.
It was wonderful. I felt safe while on the resort, the staff was helpful and generous with their time in answering questions.
The restaurant/bar was great and service was great as well. The resort was clean and well kept.
The location was great and had a trolley stop right across the street. Best lobster roll ever was across the street as well. Southernmost Point was a half a block away.
Highly recommend and will return.

I truly enjoyed our vacation at this resort. Lots of activities, great location, plenty of seating and umbrellas at the clean pools and at their private beach area. The bars were well stocked and food access was quick and easy all while enjoying the pool without having to vacate your spot. The staff was friendly and professional and our rooms were kept clean daily. Live music or DJs provided entertainment at every pool daily! Just a great place to have fun and vacation. I would go back there again for sure.
The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the room comfort and size. For the price I paid, I expected something much more comfortable/luxurious. The pricing is not outrageous by any means, especially for a resort with this location and its amenities. However, the bed we had was hard as a rock and the pillows were sub-standard. Also, the room was small and only one chair was provided, which is all it could hold. The bathroom was awesome but the bedroom could use some updating. That said, a room that size should have had a better room rate or no resort fee given it didn’t have an ocean view nor was it poolside.
