My wife and I loved the food and atmosphere. As always the chickens join your meal. I loved the mahi tostones!
Convenient location off the beach. The outdoor seating has big fans to cool you off. Nice bathroom. Great sandwiches and drinks 🍹
We stopped in and had breakfast at Southernmost Sandy’s Cafe
after visiting the Iconic Southern most Point in Key West. It is just a short walk away down Whitehead Street. We dined in at the Southernmost point bar. The atmosphere was great and the food was plentiful. We ordered the Cuban breakfast sandwiches and they were delicious and we took the leftovers home. Highly recommend.
Great place to enjoy a delicious bite to eat! The atmosphere was festive and friendly, with an authentic Key West vibe due to the free milling chickens, which added to the laid-back charm! We had mouthwatering skirt steak tacos and a shrimp po-boy, along with excellently flavored mixed drinks. It's just down the street from the Southernmost monument where tons of people were queuing up for a picture op.
Sandy's Cafe, located near Duval St. in Key West, is a fun little spot we discovered on our first day on the island. We were instantly captivated by its vibrant atmosphere. The cafe is entirely outdoors, and it's serviced by a Cuban food truck and an outdoor bar. The live music playing in the background drew us in that day, setting the perfect tone for our visit. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a fun place to kick off your visit to the island. The seating is first come, first serve and can be a hassle on busy days. Even with that, I recommended it.
