“Great food with a great atmosphere. I was visiting the Keys for the first time and I stopped here with a group of friends. It wasn’t too busy so we got seated right away. We went at night and sat outside to enjoy the view of the light they had outside you can tell that during the day, the view of the water is beautiful. The waitress was very attentive and made sure that she answers all our questions on the foods. I’d say the best food we tried were the conch fritters. I’ve never had Dolphin before but it taste pretty much like snapper so it wasn’t bad at all. I would definitely recommend trying it out to expand your pallet. The calamari was delicious. Really good batter and the dipping sauces were on point. Now I have a spot to try when I go down to the keys.”

“I'm not sure what the full menu is as they have no website and a very limited one on Facebook nor did they have one to bring us. The pizza is great ( had cheese and pepperoni) the lobster bites are awesome $15 for 6 tho but it's worth it. Pizza is on the pricey side. The chicken on the buffalo chicken is gross ( taste like Purdue shortcuts reheated). Definitely skip that.”

“My first visit here I only give this place a 3 star rating. It was rainy and windy and pretty gloomy. Which wasn't fair to this place. After going back today and eating and having a couple of beers. The food really turned me around. The food is outstanding. Happy hour starts at 12 I believe? We usually go to a place just down the street. But I believe this will be our new hang out spot. Sorry Havana Jack's for the previous rating. Went back the next day at 1 pm. And the happy hour was changed. It's now 4pm. Like everyone else. But the food is still outstanding.”

“Stayed at resort and would agree Continental breakfast was very disappointing, stalest bagels I have seen and they were daily. However, food and service at Florida boy was great, selections were very good and bartender, Chris always very helpful with entertainment info in the area. Not sure how Limetree resort breakfast connection actually works but suspect they want it cheap as possible and it shows. Not a direct Florida Boy issue in my mind at all, they offer great experience.”

“Okay food- the happy hour prices were reasonable. Most of the sandwich prices were good as well! Only four stars instead of five because the food could be a bit better; my conch fritters were undercooked on the inside, even after sending them back to be refried. The mozzarella sticks were bland, and the coconut shrimp could have had more flavor. The Hawaiian pulled pork sliders were very good, though!”

“Amazing local place! No sign on the road it is word of mouth for travelers. We did the sunset booze cruise and more than got our monies worth on the complimentary alcohol! The sunset was incredible. The staff was fun and friendly, not crowded in early January. We even met the owner briefly as we were leaving and he was a very cool, neat guy. Food was great. There are many activities like snorkeling and kayaks, shops and a restaurant. Must go if you're in Islamorada!”

“Brought my mom here for breakfast. The basics done right here at this unassuming dockside cafe. The eggs were scrambled in perfectly thin layers, the corned beef hash and hashbrowns crispy. Kudos to cook Hector for delivering on this breakfast. Server Cathy was smiley and eager to assist. Would come back next time in ISLAMORADA.”

“Service was good and very friendly. We brought fish we caught and it was awesome! The Lazy Day fish seasoning is very tasty and for a family meal was well worth it. Great view and nice place. Facilities were clean and orderly in our visit. Would and will be back when the weather is warmer and can experience it at the hot time of year. All my family gave it 5 stars and stuffed themselves. I’d say the could use bigger bathrooms, we’ll at least for the men. Cannot speak for the gals. There little sharks swimming along the shore we could see by the torch lights. Nice job Lazy Days!”

“Visited just after Memorial Day during a trip through the Keys and while we did not stay at the resort, it was looking for lodging establishments that I discovered this place. The food was good with generous portions and server accomodated our requests like no bread or no sugar easily, if only the flies would have let us enjoy our meal and not run us out so quickly. “Been visiting the Islamorada area of the Florida Keys for years and the Midway Cafe has never disappointed. Great coffee, sandwiches, salads, smoothies and more. Great little outside seating area if you want to enjoy the fresh air of the keys. The inside also sells some arts and crafts of local keys residents. I'd recommend Midway Cafe if you're driving through the area.”

“Visiting Florida for the first time actually, didn’t know what to expect. Coming from New York, i pride myself on having a well-developed pallet. Came across this place and it was spectacular. The entire experience was sensational - from the friendly and accommodating service, to the magnetic ambiance, and the unearthly food. Can safely say that it was one of the best all-around dining experiences thus far in my life. Will absolutely come back here again (and may even consider retiring down here after this experience!)”
