Dewey Destin's Seafood Restaurant

What an original place! Food is authentic and fresh. The grouper sandwich was delicious and well prepared. The fries were made correctly but need seasoning. The shrimp salad was tasteful with great seasoning. Service was very friendly and prompt. Very down to earth place and in a good location off the water. It's of seagulls l, no problem just do not feed them, ha.

This place was recommended by the Captain of the Screaming Eagle. He was spot on. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing but everyone was welcomed and received service. Its old school ordering, which was actually enjoyable because the staff is so friendly. Refills on soda and tea. I had the grilled Scallops and they were delicious. When your food is ready they come out to the tables and shout your name. Awesome! Please tip the staff. They deserve it.

This was the first time for us to eat at Dewey Destin's. I recommend everyone make a trip to eat here when you are in the area. When you're driving down to the parking lot, don't freak out! You will drive through an area that looks pretty rough...keep driving. The place is not an upscale place, which makes it even better in my book. But the food is awesome! I ordered the Grilled Shrimp. It was really, REALLY good. You walk up and order, there are no waitresses. But they will bring your food out to your table. Staff was very polite. We will definitely come back to eat here when we are in the area.

Absolutely delicious! Very lightly seasoned and the fried shrimp tasted like shrimp and not batter. The hush puppies were great. The crab cakes were the best I've had, full of crab meat and not fillers. And the view is beautiful and so fun watching all the water activity.
