East Pass Seafood & Oyster House

We were here on vacation last week and stopped by the patio bar at random. Our bartender was Robby and East Pass immediately became our go-to bar in Destin. Robby is an amazing bartender and will take great care of his customers. We went back several times and sat at his bar because the bar atmosphere was great and Robby made us great drinks every time. After ordering the same drink several times, he asked me, "Do you still want the same thing or do you want to try something else?". I told him I order that drink because it's simple and I hate sugary drinks. He immediately threw together a pretty and yummy drink that wasn't sweet. He remembered us whenever we would go back and would make our drinks right away. If you're a regular at your local bar, this would be fairly standard. But we were on vacation and only went here a handful of times.

Our last day on vacation, our family went fishing and brought back a ton of fish to be cooked up. We took it all to East Pass and not only did they cook all of the fish a few different ways, they made it VERY fast and served it with potatoes, green beans, and fries. Each fish was delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant as their food is amazing, the staff is fantastic, and the service is quick!

East Pass is located on a busy boardwalk, I’m giving them 5 stars because of how fast the service was and how amazingly hospitable their entire staff was. One of the members in our party has some pretty strict allergies upon learning this our server notified a manager and the manager brought the chef to the table. They wanted to make sure that the member of our party was able to eat and not leave hungry. The chef took time to listen and understand what the allergy restrictions were and talked through different ways he could cook something up that the member of our party could eat and he did just that. The food was delicious but let me tell you the best part was unexpectedly receiving WORLD CLASS SERVICE + HOSPITALITY. It’s rare that an entire team goes out of their way to accommodate one guest, but the staff at East Pass did it without hesitation. We can’t thank y’all enough!

We stopped in this past Wednesday for dinner and drinks. The blackened snapper and grits was the best meal we had while on vacation. The bartender Justin aka The Juice gave great service and makes a mean bloody Mary for someone who doesn't even drink them! Very cool spot to relax and watch the boats go by. We will definitely be back.
