Joe's Crab Shack

I think in normal circumstances it would have been much better. We were on a 2 hour wait, on top of them being very short staffed. The staff were very understanding, professional and friendly regardless of how stretched thin they were. One of the staff members gave my youngest a free toy and candy which I thought was very sweet. The food was good, I have had better from Joe's and I'm not talking about around this location but closer to Indiana. I am just going to assume they were short on cooks as well. I don't blame the staff, they can't make people work or not call in. I saw them really hustle and still took time to check on us and refill drinks. I've had worse service and attitudes with a less demanding crowd and plenty of staff. They really showed a sense of professionalism regardless of how stressed they must have been. I give it 3 because it was expensive, obviously 2 hours is a long time, due to staffing issues I believe our food could have been better. Other than that they had stellar attitudes and that speaks volumes and does not mean I would not come back again sometime. Thank you for your hard work all you ladies need a raise!

We overall have had a great experience, our waiter Nas was super polite and helpful. The food came out quick and we had a great meal. There was a long wait however that night they were short handed. I would definitely recommend!
