They had great service, friendly and fast. The meal was fresh and no processed food...your chicken had bones so you know it is real. The tacos were super delicious and the plantains were to die for. The chef even asked us how everything was...very nice touch to our visit. The only thing I would suggest is a deep clean on the place. It was not filthy by any means but need some touch ups in areas.
The food is absolutely delicious. We are visiting from out of town for a 40th Birthday and we placed a catering order for our dinner party. Sean and Sasha were a great help with getting everything arranged. From the time we placed the order until Sean arrived to deliver our food, the customer service was outstanding. We ordered oxtails, cabbage, jerk chicken and rice and peas. All of the food was absolutely phenomenal! We definitely recommend this establishment. Sean you are amazing, thank you so much for helping us to make a memorable birthday for our sister!
Food was pretty good although there is a discrepancy with the prices. I ordered oxtails which are showing on the menu online and in the store $17.00. However, when I looked at my receipt I noticed that they were rung up at $18.50 plus I was charged a .74 cents service charge. Not sure what the service charge is for but ok. I don't mind the prices however, it would have been nice to know beforehand that the extra charges were being applied. I would suggest you double check the prices before swiping your CC. The food was good but more than likely I won't eat here again.
I went here the other day for dinner and I really enjoyed the food. It was really nice not to have to wait forever for a table like at all the big tourist restaurants around. This place is definitely local and family owned. I enjoyed the jerk wings and curry goat as well as some fried plantains. Great Jamaican flavor. The curry goat was a bit hard to eat with the smaller bones though.
My husband saw this online and we decided to stop by after hitting the beach. Small, quiet and quaint space. Good service. Great food. Food is cooked fresh, so expect a small wait, but its always worth it for AMAZING food. Kick back, relax and enjoy.
