Helen Back Pizza

Our 3rd or 4th visit to this little pizzeria. We tried their egg rolls for the first time, and they were tasty. I got the 10 inch Humble Pie (cheese, $11) and my husband got the same size Top Line (multiple meats and veggies, $13). We enjoyed our pizzas, and had plenty to take home. The staff is super friendly, and they do have a few bottled alcoholic drinks to choose from, or fountain sodas.

We'll be back!!

I've eaten here twice now and enjoyed both meals. Even my hard to please father and wife said they would eat at Helen Back again. Easy access and motivated staff make it an easy choice but be sure to order ahead on busy hours because they draw a crowd.
I'm looking forward to sitting outside as soon as the weather cools down.

You order at the counter and seat yourself. The waitress/cashier was super nice and professional. I guess it's standard practice to ask "if it's your first time here?" which I appreciated. I just didn't appreciate her asking us that question from across the room. I noticed all the other guests staring and curious of our response...
They have a decent variety of drinks which were good and not flat.
The Pizza was good. We ordered 3 kinds: Carnivore, Top Line, Herbivoir. The toppings were all delicious. I'm just not too crazy about the sauce and the dough. Not too salty but barely tasted the pizza sauce. The dough was soft but could be a bit more airy if that makes sense..

We brought the leftovers home and reheated them and made the crust a little crispy. It was much better!

Good pie. Pep w/ green peppers was our choice on Sunday afternoon. It came out piping hot. Really, I can't remember if it's better than Crust (which occupied the building previously), but it's very good. I felt like 1 large pizza for $25+ is high, but once you're there what are you going to do walk out?

Phenomenal pizza. Visiting from out of town and was blown away by the delicious food and hospitality. Sometimes the best way to check a restaurant is to go off the basics. Great pepperoni/cheese pizza. Awesome crust and sauce. We also met the owner and he was very friendly. He even let me turn on a University of Tennessee baseball game with only a little bit a grief for it. This will be my go-to spot in Fort Walton.
