Red Lobster

I had been craving Red Lobster. We were in town the lot didn't look full. Everything started out good. We got our drinks and appetizer ordered and brought to the table quick. We even got refills. Then while waiting for our meals we noticed people who were there after us were getting and finishing meals, and our server was no where to be found. By the time the food finally came out no one was hungry any more. Everyone just picked at the food and waiting for the server to come back to get to go boxes. It is what it is.

Folks we've been going to Red Lobster for a VERY LONG TIME. I have shared a meal and a memory a many a times here. However, as much as it saddens me to say this I was NOT impressed with my last visit. They had NO GUMBO. Every piece of my seafood tasted the same. My Cole slaw was as the comedian said "wet salad". I know there a lot of shortages of food. People don't wanna work and one can only do the best they can with what they have to work with. Our waitress was also bartending as well as waiting tables. This saddens me.

I'm NOT losing my faith. Instead I am praying that places that we used to love will stop trying to cut corners and instead work hard to bring back the REALLY GOOD STUFF.

The food and service was superb. The service very professional, friendly and engaging. They sang Happy Birthday to me. We had a great time, the view was awesome. Very memorable. Thank you.

We realized that it’s a busy travel season with all the tourists taking over but an exaggerated “20 minute wait” was more of a 1 hour 20 minute wait. It would be nice to get a little more transparency. Other than that, our food and service was great beyond the initial wait. As busy as Terry was, he still went out of his way to provide superb service.

It's not bad for a chain restaurant. The service is great, very polite and friendly.

It's just, especially here in the Florida Panhandle, there are so many better options for seafood.

So I only come here when others are insistent upon eating here. It's not bad food, but it's very generic food.
