Prices are reasonable and we always enjoy eating there! The hush puppies, crab cakes, and blackened fish are my favorites. The pork chop is also great and always done to perfection! Friendly and attentive staff!

Found this place when searching for soul food. The food was really good. I could have used a bit more seasoning since I'm from South Louisiana, but it definitely filled the void. I would definitely go back. The atmosphere was nice as well as the server.

For the money and the hospitality this restaurant is just a feel good comfortable place where smiles and service are included with every meal. The Fried Green Tomatoes are the most unpretentious with just the perfect amount of wonderfully seasoned breading that are among the best I've ever tasted! The dipping sauce is a perfect complement to these incredible little circles of wonder! Full stop! The myriad of dishes are just what you would expect in comfort food. The blackened fish with a baked potato wasn't doused in salt to give it taste like so many lower priced restaurants do. Pass on the desserts, they are fine for there low price, but obviously canned fruits and this the four stars for an otherwise 5 star for the value of the meals.

If you love Liver and Onions....go! Yes I know, it's definitely not for most but it's my absolute favorite there. The white fish plate is wonderful as well. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. If you get Tony, you will not be disappointed. He's engaging in conversation, didn't hover at all but made sure to check on us often. Our glasses were never empty and made us feel like we were his only customers. I wished there was a "Tony" at all places we do business!
