Rick's on the Island & Island Pizza

Fun environment. Service was a little slow but they were packed and there were just 2 servers so not a huge deal. I had the fried shrimp platter and my wife had the shrimp poboy. We are from the Midwest so we don't get fresh seafood often, and the shrimp was really tasty. Hush puppies were great as well. Staff was very friendly. Great start to our vacation.

Just found out the pizza bar was open last week and it did not disappoint!!! The French dip is the best in town and had all the games on to keep track of your fantasy points! Great atmosphere in both bars! Will definitely be going back again

Beautiful atmosphere with tasty food and cool vibes! The night we went wasn't super busy (off season AND rainy weather), but there was a talented guy playing acoustic guitar and singing, that also took requests and interacted with the audience. It was a ton of fun! The restaurant cat, Doug, a female orange kitty, was an added bonus to our cat loving family. The kiddos enjoyed giving and getting some love! Don't worry, though; if you're not a cat person she won't be pestering you. As a vegan in our group of carnivores, I was able to find some sides to fill me up, while others enjoyed fish and shrimp, and even a big burger. I bet this place is even better when the weather is nice, so stop by and check it out!

This was my family's favorite place to eat during our time at Fort Walton. We actually ate there three times during our week vacation if that tells you how much we enjoyed it. The boom boom shrimp tacos are amazing! My kids loved their pizza. The service was great. If you are staying at destin west you can simply walk over to ricks.
