Garibaldi (Apopka) Mexican Restaurant & Bar

probably the best local restaurant in town! the food is amazing and so is the staff. I love this restaurant if you haven't tried it definitely stop by and give them a chance. you wont be disappointed!

Get the nachos; I highly recommend them. They’re one of the best I’ve ever had. The margaritas are beautifully made; they get the job done. Our bartender took great care of us and was very friendly. The patio bar is my favorite part of the restaurant.

First time coming here was Sunday. (Mother’s Day) Food and drinks were so good! Great food portions and strong drinks. Loved the atmosphere. We chose to sit outside because it was way too loud inside. Loved the music though. Wait was pretty long, but they were busy so obviously we understood, their just wasn’t enough seating for you while you waited for a table. Had to stand outside for about 25 minutes. Our server kinda had an attitude towards us at the beginning, but got nicer along the way. So not too upset about that.. but definitely never okay. BUT She did a good job bringing everything. Everything came out great and no issues with food or anything.

Started out as a very bad experience here. We were told it was a half-hour wait, it turned out to be an hour. There were six of us in our party and they put us in the back in the corner and no one knew who was supposed to wait on us so no one did. After about 20 minutes I got up and went and spoke to a server and told him I needed a manager. He asked me what the problem was and I told him and he said he would take care of us. He did. He was awesome! He also gave us a nice discount on our food because of all our trouble. I always love Garibaldi's and I'm glad this was not my only experience there. I normally eat at the one by the Florida Mall and have never had an issue there. The particular night we went to this one it was super busy!

We randomly stopped by after a quick search. The place was full of life.. you would think they had been here in town forever. Turns out, we showed up on week 3 of their opening. The staff was on point, very friendly and always checked in. We got a table outside, got some chips and salsa right away. The food took a bit long, but not too much of a wait. There was definitely a lot of people that nice, so understandable.

Food was good. I wouldn’t say this is the authentic stop.. but the atmosphere was nice. They had upbeat music playing in the background, wasn’t too loud to have a nice conversation. It looks very modern and family friendly.. bring the kids.. bring your friends.. We’ll be back to enjoy the atmosphere if we are in that neck of the woods again. Good job to everyone there!
