Hysterical! My long lost cousin Tim was our waiter. He asked if my Dad was able too hold a job yet! He yelled at my daughter for not washing her hands. The fried chicken was pretty good, the garlic cheese platter was too garlicky, but it doesn’t matter. It was so. much. fun. The decor is not what you would excpect for a 50s diner (Records on the wall, pictures of Elvis) It was period pieces they found an antique shops and up garage sales. It was really like being in great grandmas house.
Enjoyed our dinner together for a party of 14. We had 2 reservations of 6 and 8 and they graciously. Combined our party for our meal together. Now the downside of that, it took roughly an additional hour to get us seated. The park closed at 8 that night and we were seated at 8:05 for a 7:15 reservation that we had arrived much earlier for to try to get to seat together.
When we did get seated, a sweet manager came over and gave us all a fast pass for the next day. We appreciated that gesture.
As for the food, very good. Pbj milkshake and root beer floats started the meal and everyone loved. Fried chicken, chicken pot pie and the roast were all favorites.
Food is tasty and service is fun. Only complaint is that the food didn’t come out very hot.
Good overall experience. So close to five stars.
The brownie desert is very good.
We go here every time we go to Disney. A few months ago in October, however, we were somewhat disappointed. Decent food and good portions but completely disinterested service. The wait staff always has a bit of an attitude, that's part of the we're all family theme that they have, but our waitress this time just couldn't care less. Nothing like finishing up and waiting 20 minutes before hailing another waiter to go get your waitress so you can pay and leave.
The food here was quite good. Nothing fancy, just nicely done items like fried chicken, pot roast, meatloaf, Caesar salad. We had to sit and eat at the bar because you need a reservation to get a table, that worked out fine. Service was good. The prices were quite high for the menu items and drinks, but this is Disney.
