Peacock Alley

This lounge has a piano player that really is exceptional which adds to the ambiance. The drink menu has a nice selection of wines and cocktails. On this visit, I tried the Peacock Egg. It is an egg shaped ice ball filled with Bombay Sapphire Gin, lavender syrup, Blue Curaçao and fresh lemonade. This drink was beyond delicious and refreshing !

Excellent leisurely afternoon tea! Service was impeccable, food was delicious, setting was as beautiful. We will return!

Gorgeous bar! They sometimes have a live pianist play which is nice when you’re having cocktails. One of the times I went, there was a group having a high tea bridal shower and I thought that was such a cute idea! I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it’s too pricey.

3 on promptness- no one answer the phone for 'To Go Orders'. Great service by the waiters I'll give them a 4 star (the man forgot to pass me a menu). Five stars on food!! Great crab cakes

If you enjoy afternoon tea then you must treat yourself to this experience at the Waldorf!! Makes reservations early as it’s only available on Sundays from 2-4. It started with a very impressive selection of 6 varieties of finger sandwiches. We found the scones to be exceptional, followed by a delicious tower of the freshest pastries. I’ve enjoyed many afternoon teas including the Savoy in London and found this one to be my new local favorite. Ask for Victoria, my hopes are you will find her company as charming as we did.
