The Edison

Delicious food and cool vibe at The Edison at Disney Springs! We love dining at Disney Springs and have tried so many different restaurants there in the past, but this was our first time at The Edison yesterday evening - after our original dinner reservations were cancelled. While at first we were disappointed about the cancellation and change in plans, we are thankful for the opportunity to have tried The Edison. There server’s recommendations were spot on! My husband had the Edison Burger which was very juicy and packed with so much flavor! It was fantastic - I had to try it! I had the the Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese, which is hands down by far the best I have ever had - the soup was creamy and the grilled cheese sandwich was perfectly grilled and cheesy (also big enough for two people)! All of this was after we started off with our cocktails (I had the Strawberry Fields, which was very refreshing, my husband had a manly man’s drink that was a twist on the Old Fashioned, that I also enjoyed) along with the Candied Bacon, which is a MUST have appetizer to complement the meal (the jam it comes with is incredible - it left me wanting more). Food was fresh and served timely. Overall great experience and we will be back. While the seating options (no booths, smaller tables, not very private) and service are not great and the menu is on the pricier side for the selections offered, the food and the vibe totally made up for it.

Really enjoyed the food. The Edison Burger is as good as they say.. Our service wasn't amazing, but it was pretty good. Our server seemed to be covering a large area/not around enough to remember what she looked like. She did get our drink order right away, placed our food order quickly. She walked by saying enjoy, but never checked back in until the end of our meal to see how the food was. (Again, I believe she had a large area to cover) She did stop by to multiple time towards the end to make sure we didn't need refills, new drinks or anything else. Truly enjoyed and will be back again.

The Edison has a great staff with very good food and service. My burger was cooked perfectly and the size was great. Bar tenders were very good, definitely recommend The Edison cocktail. Our waitress Delaney was awesome. Super funny and engaging. She made sure we had a unforgettable experience. Definitely will come back and he requesting her as our waitress.

We love going to the Edison. The variety of drinks and the delicious comfort food alone makes it worthwhile, but the staff makes it an excellent experience. They are knowledgeable, friendly and make top notch suggestions. Maintaining amazing service is tough in a pandemic, but the Edison is keeping things safe and great.

Special shout-out to Michael U. who took excellent care of us this time and the last time I visited. His drink suggestions were PERFECT!

My boyfriend and I got to our reservation early, and the hostess gave us the option to sit at the bar- so we took it! Bartenders were great! My usual drink is a lychee martini, and since they don’t serve lychee here Allen and John (the bartendar’s/our waiters for the night)recommended the perfect alternation- a Very Berry martini. Food service was amazing. I felt like I placed my order and had the runner serve us in under 5 minutes. For an appetizer we had the Candied Bacon... SO DELICIOUS! I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup (before you say/think anything about ordering this classic at a restaurant.... it was so delicious) and my boyfriend had the Edison Burger. Ended the night with another order of a Very Berry Martini and Old Fashion.

COVID note: they were great with protocol. We sat at the bar and had basically the whole space to ourselves. Staff wore masks AND face shields, along with gloves :)
