I eat at a lot of Disney restaurants, and especially their buffets don't have the best quality food. This place does it right. We went for breakfast for my sister's birthday and we were so impressed. They have a huge selection of delicious and unique options. There are the standard eggs, bacon, sausage, Mickey waffles, and fruit. There are also some more unique offerings frittatas, breakfast pizza, pecan buns, beef hash, and breakfast potatoes. Definitely worth checking out for a reasonable Disney buffet!
We love Disney World! We love Fort Wilderness! There would be a family revolt if we didnt go to Trails End!! It is buffet style but the food is always incredible. Breakfast includes Mickey waffles along with every other breakfast style food you can think of (and some you haven't). Dinner ranges, but always has multiple meat selection and plenty of great veggies.
This is a great "hidden gem" at Disney. It's out of the way, quiet, has quite good comfort food, and for Disney it's reasonably priced. Fort Wilderness is one of the few places on Disney property that feel relaxing, and yet it's only a short boat ride away from Magic Kingdom. It's the same food as Hoop-De-Doo review, but without the show (which I prefer). Don't come looking for anything adventurous, but if you want fried chicken, ribs, potatoes, and that sort of food, it's a great choice.
Not bad.
Pros: I would nearly recommend it just for the pork roast alone. Then the green beans were like candy. And the salads, especially the Kale salad, were delightful. Also, Kevin, our server, was very attentive with drinks, and so on.
Cons: The other meats, like roast chicken, were not good at all. The mashed potatoes were dry and somewhat flavorless. Finally the bread sticks were dry, hard, and flavorless.
Conclusion: At this price, the food should be darn near perfect. So, unless you are going to get plates full of pork roast, I could not overall recommend Trail's End.
Amazing service. We showed up a bit late to our reservation when they were near closing and they still sat us. Our server was so polite and on top of everything we needed. Food was delicious and fresh with so much variety. Always a go to place when you are starving and want a home cooked meal vibe.
