Ahmed Indian Grill & Restaurant

I think this building used to be a Pie 5 or some other pizza joint and honestly I don't miss it one bit because Ahmed was awesome! Me and my roommates went for the Lunch Buffet and it was so satisfying. The food was great, there was a nice variety of several curries (including multiple vegetarian options) with different heat levels plus naan and onion pakoda (SO GOOD), sauces, and some puddings for dessert. The prices at the time were $9 and change for buffet. I noticed it is higher for the weekends so the menu might vary. But it was super reasonable and we all loved it! The staff were really attentive and so friendly. They really made sure you were taken care of! I hope this place continues to grow and stays in this plaza for a good long time. This place has great service and great food. We used to go to Tamarind on E Colonial prior to the pandemic unfortunately they did not reopen. We are so happy Ahmed opend and is across the street from us. The food is very flavorful and great quality. Also if you are not a fan of spicy you are able to select your spice level which is great because I have a little one that isnt too fond of spicy.If you have not tried I definently recommend you try this place...!!!!

Really nice place. Authentic Indian cuisine. Great atmosphere. Very friendly. Feels welcome. We enjoyed their lunch buffet. Definitely give them a try.

So happy to have good Indian food in waterford lakes. I recommend the onion pakoras, but everything is good.

It was a welcome surprise spotting this new Indian restaurant on my visit to the chain place next door. They opened just a week ago. Foot traffic was light, but service was prompt and friendly and the portions were huge. I had the lamb biryani. Delicious. I'll be coming back regularly.
