Awesome place to go with your spouse. Very romantic . Dessert was epic I had the special key lime pie that Was just hands down amazing. Service was great. One thing I didn’t like is Everyone keep coming to my table every two second so I couldn’t really enjoy a conversation with my partner. That was a bummer for me because we were on date night and we haven’t been on a date since we had our newborn baby.

This is the first restaurant that is almost pitch dark inside in which I did not feel sleepy, had a great time and really fell for the whole dark and naughty vibe.
Better than Sex is really a dessert restaurants, so you better have your proteins and vitamins before because when you go here you will get to just indulge!
The service is great and although it is not very big, it is perfect for the sense of intimacy.
The menus are iPads, which is great so you can clearly see everything.
Whether you like alcohol or not, there are options for both!! ???? Including teas to help with digestion.
The location is very cool, in the quaint, lake front downtown neighborhood of Ivanhoe Village.
Regarding the desserts, or should I say, the main courses, they are very creative and I think I like the descriptions even more than the food, they did a very enticing and provocative take on describing different types of sweets. I had the Chocolate and Brie sandwich, whose name I will not say so you can go find out for yourselves, but it was great to share because we had dinner before.
    GO NOW!!

I got the pleasure to enjoy this amazing place. Before going I had been researching it for while and watching how others enjoyed it. So on Easter, I proposed to my current fiance after the proposal we came and had a wonderful experience. Once our server found out we just got engaged they provided us with complimentary drinks and custom designed plates stating "She said yes" and " Congratulations". It was awesome. We will now be regulars. Thank you so much.

We'd been told we HAD to go get dessert here so we grabbed our friends and made reservations. Overall, the desserts we choose were okay. The best of the bunch was a tasty banana confection. I wasn't a fan of the chocolate dipped glass I chose for my coffee, but my friend loved the caramel drizzled on her glass. Now on to the atmosphere... what FUN! Great care and detail was taken to create an inviting, sexy space to relax with your partner and/or friends.

I love exploring different establishments with a culinary theme. This review represents the average of several factors I took into consideration from my personal experience. Your mileage might vary.

If you came here for the desserts and drinks: 5/5 stars

Things can get complicated if you want to be able to see your significant other seated beyond arm's reach across from you; the dimmest possible light is befitting Dracula's Crypt, and does not reflect the photos depicted on the restaurant's web site.

In this type of light ambiance, I was unable to see the actual texture of my drink, which was decaf coffee with plenty of dark chocolate around its rim. That's fine, it tasted delicious with a shot of amaretto but I ended up smudging myself every time I touched the glass.

The Man Flowers cake was rich and moist, at a gargantuan portion and as I said, the desserts stand up to the restaurant's reputation.

The place was quiet, I do not recall any music of any kind playing. In this kind of lighting, the privacy half curtains enhance the decor only and are not to be used. The light reflected from the nearby booth was a blessing, and as everyone spoke in gentle tones, I enjoyed the overall effect.

The waitress was polite, and service was quite fast. That, deserves 5/5 stars.

To recap: come for the desserts, bring your own lantern and some garlic - in case Dracula makes an appearance.
