First Watch - Plaza Venezia

After being seated we were told that the kitchen was backed-up and that our order might be delayed in coming. It was. The staff compensated by offering a fruit cup of a soup while we waited, so I got a free cup of Italian wedding soup. Best part of the meal. I like the Italian sausage skillet and it was loaded with potatoes and short of sausage.

Service was good, review is typical to what is already listed here. We visited during high peak times (quoted 15 min wait , actually wait 10 min for table) so service was spotty (not an issue) and food took longer than expected to receive even during peak time. Management should work on making sure servers know table numbers as we were presented food and beverages several times that were not ours, also have servers use pen and paper to record meals, my server ,"misheard" my order and rang it in incorrectly, my meal was compensated for the mishap, and replaced quickly. It was still very inconvenient and avoidable. Food was good, and healthy options available. I would love more vegetarian (no egg, no dairy) options. It was packed but atmosphere is really nice, decor modern and comfortable. Would love light music playing. Would also love sliced eggplant "bacon" mirroring Million Dollar Bacon for us none meat eaters. Also had Lemon Blueberry Quinoa Pancakes ????

Great food. Very busy but still received great service. Small grill fire was a small set back. We received a coupon for the slight inconvenience. Very nice.

Always love this place. High quality ingredients, and good recipes, without relying on a ton of sugar and salt (or worse) for the flavor. Some good healthier options available, great omelets, sandwiches, and salads, and good juices too. A little more expensive than its competitors, but then they don't use the same quality of fresh /organic ingredients. There's usually a bit of a wait, but it's not too bad, and the staff is knowledgeable about their dishes.
