Mason Jar Provisions

Don't overlook this small spot. The fried chicken & waffle sandwich topped w/jalapenos was delicious. We also ordered their smash burger which was better than Burger FI in my opinion. Fries were good too, absolutely no complaints!

I went here in the middle of my bike ride because the rain was approaching and I didn’t eat for a bit. I walked in and was immediately greeted with kindness and the explanation of options. This place has outdoor seating currently but it looks like it shares a space with the brewery next door for indoor seating.

I ended up ordering the hot chicken sandwich in medium. I first thought the price point was kinda high but when you get your order you see that they give you a lot of food. I couldn’t even finish all my fries and that usually doesn’t happen.

I thought the chicken was a little bland for my taste, but that’s on me for not ordering a level or two spicier. The chicken itself was cooked really juicy. I really liked that they give you extra pickles on the side because it helped cut the grease a little. I do wish there was a special sauce added in the sandwich for a little extra something but it was still good.

The fries that came with my order were *chefs kiss* they were nice and crispy, but soft and potatoey on the inside. I really liked the seasoning on the fries. And they give you SO MUCH

I didn’t eat the coleslaw because I normally don’t so I can’t give much an opinion on that.

The server was extremely friendly and makes you feel at home. The location is convenient and looks like it would be fun on the weekends.

I would come here again to try out other menu items or the same sandwich with a higher heat on it.

Yummy, pretty food. My friends got the chicken and waffles, and I got the Bourbon Blue burger. And the guy brought us a free order of fried pickles to try. They were delicious, and the ranch dip made them even better. They serve bottled drinks (not fountain), and the root beer they have is really good (Spreckers?). Cute little place. The guys who work there are super friendly and happy to give recommendations from the menu. They are very attentive.

you had no right to make this this delicious. chik fil a lol? soggy chicken sandwiches and terrible waffle fries. even ordering from uber eats during a pandemic it came so crispy and delicious perfect brioche bun stoop it. 18/10 will order again. thank you.

My husband David and I are so very happy you opened up The Mason Jar in our neighborhood, Thornton Park. It has sure cut down my trips to the grocery store for dinner. The food is fresh and fabulous. The service is great. The owner, AJ is very nice and down to earth. The Mason Jar is a great addition to the neighborhood. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you don’t know what you are missing.
