Sette

The new Italian-inspired spot from the creators of Se7en Bites is a magnificent revelation along Lake Ivanhoe. Deceptively simple-sounding bites such as the meatball antipasto—roasted eggplant or pork and beef spheres in rich tomato gravy on a bed of polenta, a small swirl of whipped ricotta atop. It is a meal unto itself. With Sette, there’s a new casual sophistication in the brick walls and industrial seating, the pewter-looking flatware, meatballs served in tiny iron skillets, and the covered patio with views of the lake, an ideal spot for one of the restaurant’s crafted cocktails.

Food was delicious. It's the same owner as Se7en Bites, I wouldn't expect anything less. Everything was amazing! Highly recommend checking out the restaurant if you're in the vicinity.

Novel takes on Italian classics that will bring you back over and over. The hearty portions and quality ingredients fulfill all appetites. And, the desserts, the desserts, I will let these two photos speak for themselves: pistachio spumoni bread pudding and canoli cream puffs.

First off the service was fantastic! I couldn't have been happier with that. The food looked great on paper but the execution needs refinement. In all fairness, it was their 4th day open when we went so I'll try again. My struggles were that the pasta noodles was very dry, and the desserts were just okay. On the other hand, the meatballs and grapes were phenomenal.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant. The appetizers, wine selection, cocktails, and main courses were some of the best I’ve ever had. The lemon olive oil cake is easily the best dessert I’ve ever had. The ambience was lovely, our waiter was friendly and helpful, and the space is beautiful. I can’t wait to return!
