The Cloak & Blaster

We had a great time at Cloak and Blaster. If you like good food, drinks and fun board games you will be very happy! I was a little disappointed with the upstairs area as it did not allow for a lot of people and wasn't super themed like the first floor. It was fine for us though as we never left the first floor. Too much fun! Definitely try the dragon eggs. Yum

Cloak and Blaster is a great nerd bar where you can sit down with your friends, play a board game, drink any number of beers and ciders, or eat some interesting takes on traditional foods (the Lannister is amazing). You can even take the fun upstairs to their citadel gaming lounge. Additionally, the servers are always friendly.

The reason I can't give this place five stars is they've fallen victim to their own success. They are frequently overcrowded, servers overworked, and for some unknown reason the water is always warm.

We can't to the Cloak & Blaster tonight after a conference with a big group, and everyone was amazing. The staff handled us beautifully and with grace, the food was awesome and the drinks were wonderful. Brielle upstairs was always hustling, and staying so patient and kind with all the guests - with excellent communication and letting us know wait times and just all around being awesome. I wish we lived closer so this could be a regular haunt! Super recommend stopping by.

Fun atmosphere for geeks. Nothing stands out here, but it’s not bad either. Decent pub food, okay selection of games, friendly staff, cool environment, and a solid array of beer.
If you’re into BoardGames or geek culture it’s worth checking out.

Great place for board game enthusiasts. We had some beer and cocktails and they were all good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The fries tasted very fresh and everything was reasonably priced. I really liked the decorations and their board game selection. I hope to come back.
