Yard House

Great place to eat and drink if your in the area. The Yard House was walking distance from my hotel so I decided to give it a whirl. Had a great Truffle burger and Truffle fries. Couldn’t give the food enough stars! I highly recommend! The beer was also great and the service even better. Well done!

Great beer selection. I've enjoyed all the food I've had here. Service has consistently been great when sitting at the bar. That hits pretty much all the major points I look for.

Only problem I really have with the place is that their happy hour is so substantial.. or so it seems on the surface. It's like 4 hours every day, which sounds great, but realistically it means the happy hour prices are more in line with what you'd expect for "normal price" and normal price is way higher than it should be. Example - the appetizers cost more than the entrees in most cases, but they are half price during happy hour. This brings it more in line with a price you'd actually expect.

Make sure to stop in during happy hour and this problem goes away.

I would rate 5 stars for service alone. With how busy it was when we went, the service and timing of food coming out to us was excellent. The lobster dip appetizer was great. We shared some tacos and a carnivore pizza. The pizza was very similar to a frozen tombstone. It was also kind of pricey. Overall, I don't think we will be back. Lots of tourists, overpriced food and the quality of the food was so so. 4 stars simply because of service quality and food timing.

Every time we come to Yard House in Orlando it is always great. Those who think it isn't either never worked in a restaurant or are just miserable guests. Tyler was awesome and made my family and I feel at home. This experience started our vacation on a great note!!
