“Surprisingly quality food from the homemade soups, fresh salads and items you rarely see on menus...ESPECIALLY for the price point. The service is great, management sincerely connects with diners to ensure everything was up to par as he estimated "about 95% everything's from scratch". It is evident that is completely accurate. The ambiance is warm and lovely as the exposed brick and white tablecloths and cloth napkins provide a sense of fine dining with a neighborhood haunt experience. We've only been twice and were impressed by the whole experience was a 9 out of a 10 only because the steak a poivre needed a tad bit more of the mushroom brandy sauce. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare as ordered. My husband had the meatloaf and said the gravy...more like a rich and flavorful sauce was the best he ever had and that it kicked up the mashed potatoes really well. Great place...we will definitely return...often.”
