Flakowitz Bagel Inn

Flakowitz has been my go to Bagel & more spot since it opened! Hands down best local feel deli around! For over 25 years their quality, staff, and consistency keeps me coming back!

We came here on a Sunday afternoon so they were relatively busy. We put our name down for the wait and we’re seated within 20 minutes. Not bad for a busy day!

Our server came up to our table and we were ready to order. I got the nova, cream cheese, bagel combo and my friend got the tuna and bagel. We eat got a coffee and OJ. The coffee was pretty good and the OJ came in a bottle, which was nice.

The bagels we nicely toasted and my nova cake with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, capers, pickles and coleslaw. Everything was delicious. I would have liked more lox, but it was a fair amount for the price.

Our server saw when we were ready and dropped off the check letting us know there was no rush. Overall, great experience and delicious food. Would love to come back here and try some of their breakfast and more sandwiches.

Our favourite New York style deli whenever we are in the area. We’ve been going here for over ten years. The bagels and cream cheese are the very best. Great atmosphere and friendly fast service.

I have stopped by and almost gone to Flakowitz a few times. But the place is popular and I don't like waiting in a half hour line.
The other day we somehow finally decided to check it out though.
I put our name on the list on a busy weekend morn, and I to my surprise, we had a table in less than 10 minutes. The place had a good group of people waiting for a table and the place was packed, but they were an efficient bunch at flipping tables.
We knew to order fast. Our server was on a in less than a minute with coffee and the complimentary breakfast cake. Free cake and some coffee in less than a minute? I was sold.
The menu was pretty good. I got a staple for me, a egg sandwich, over medium. It was exactly what I wanted, along with the potatoes that came with it. We did our part to enjoy our breakfast but give up our table expeditiously. But our server must have gotten distracted. We didn't see her for 20 minutes. Finally I got up and had them take my money at the register.
I'm glad I finally tried Flakowitz. It hit the spot.
