The Original Pancake House

It's roomy, comfortable and clean here. All the staff are friendly. But unfortunately the pancakes were the worst tasting I've ever had. They tasted like flour & water. Nothing near a buttermilk pancake. My grandsons had chocolate chips on the side, they were served in a hot dish. What a mess. Our waiter was good but we always had to ask for coffee refills. NOTE TO MANAGER: serve your coffee in a pot left on the table or remind your staff of how important it is to refill promptly. With HOT coffee. Thank You!

The food was great; I ordered the Turkey sausage combo that came with 2 eggs, 2 Turkey sausage patties, potatoes (I chose hash browns with onions), and 3 pancakes. I'm not normally a pancake person, so I would have liked to see more combo options with French toast or waffles, but their pancakes were the best I've had. My only reason for giving 4 stars was the service - initially the staff seemed a little hesitant since we were a party of 10 on a Wednesday morning, but they got more friendly towards the end of our meal. They also didn't keep track of who had ordered what, and we had to ask for coffee creamer multiple times. I think they just weren't used to such large parties, though, so I definitely recommend for parties less than 6.

Generally I don't spend the time to make reviews on google; however I felt compelled to do so after my breakfast yesterday. My server Adam was on very efficient. It seemed as if he was running around the entire restaurant, but he never missed a beat. The food came out hot, and he made our meal more enjoyable with a few witty jokes here and there. Great personality, excellent service, and great food! Management seems to be doing a very good job at this location.

Tasty food, great portions!
I was not expecting to enjoy this place this much!
I stopped by for a road trip lunch and was blown by the sandwich, and I loved the spinach Greek omelet. My wife had pancakes that were also delicious.
But more than that, their portions are HUGE, summing up to great value, great experience, great food. I'll be looking for other opportunities for revisiting them!
