Amar Mediterranean Bistro

Grabbed a late dinner with a girlfriend after having some wine from the wine bar across the street. We were lucky to get a patio seat with hardly any wait time, as a couple was just leaving when we arrived. It started of very pleasant with beautiful weather. The waitress was very prompt in getting us our drinks (red wine -which they serve chilled at the right temperature. I loved this as very few restaurants serve their wine at any other temperature than room temp). The weather started to take a turn (that's FL though), and immediately the staff was able to find us a seat inside where we then shared the tapas in the picture. Everything was great, from the service, to the wine, food, as well as the ambiance. Will be going back soon!

This restaurant is Atlantic Avenue's hidden gem. It just opened and for now serves only dinner, but I expect reservations will be tough to get once people find out about it. The food is as authentic as it gets and they use only the freshest ingredients. There are many vegetarian and vegan options too. You will not be disappointed. Try it before you can't get a reservation.

Amazing! Went to Amar on Atlantic ave tonight and it was delicious! We Had hummus with pita (which was fired, so it was all puffed up and fresh), the mini meat pies and the mixed grill platter (lamb-beef kebab, steak, chicken) with rice. The whole meal was so fresh and flavorful. The mixed grill came with a garlic sauce that was great too. I also had wine and husband had beer and bill was around $100 with tip included. Staff was great and owner came over to check on us. I would highly recommend and plan on going back! A wonderful date night out for this new mom😍

Absolutely one of the BEST restaurants that has hit Delray Beach! We are locals and have been waiting for authentic Mediterranean food. My family is half Middle Eastern and we ordered from Amar tonight for birthday dinners. We tried 5 main dishes and 6 appetizers and all were fantastic. When we picked up our food the husband and wife owners came out to greet us and were kind and appreciative. I wish the restaurant the BEST of success!! Kai & Jen

Undoubtedly, one of the best restaurants you can visit these days. Every detail and every corner make this restaurant comfortable and elegant. The food is delicious. The restaurant offers a wide range of healthy dishes as well as vegan desserts (I didn't know they were so amazing). The crew is exceptional and friendly. I loved visiting this place. Now, it is one of my favorites!
