La Bamba Mexican and Spanish Restaurant

Delicious food & frozen Margaritas. Excellent service, (ate at the bar). Priced very reasonably.

By far the best Mexican food I've had in Florida. Chips were fresh, salsa was perfect for me (I'm a spice wimp) and cheese enchilada was fabulous. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There were 4 of us and two babies so the table was full and a little crazy. Really enjoyed my meal. I'll be back for sure!

Moving from Fort Lauderdale to Delray meant giving up one of my frequented Mexican restaurant, Ole Ole, but I found La Bamba and it's replaced my prior spot and even more.

La Bamba has never disappointed with their food and service. The pricing is great and the complimentary Valet service is nice so you don't have to worry about if it's going to be busy with no parking spots.

I had the pleasure of dining here in December 2018 when an overly trendy tourist Mexican restaurant in the city center was ridiculously overbooked. I was very happy about that because I prefer smaller, more personal and less well known restaurants anyway. My experience at LaBamba was excellent. The margarita I ordered, while a bit on the pricey side, was perfectly made, strong, fresh and fantastic. The wait staff was friendly and caring. The atmosphere was clean, warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely, phenomenally delicious. We didn't wait very long for it either. The food tasted fresh, with complimentary flavors and there was a lot of it. We took home leftovers since there was so much and at 1am our very appreciative neighbor scarfed those leftovers down. If I'm ever in Delray again, I will most definitely be visiting this restaurant.
