RACKS Fish House & Oyster Bar

I went to Racks in Delray because it was recommended too me from a friend and I was not disappointed. I was greeted immediately at the front by the hostess Veronica who answered a couple questions I had on the way to the table with great detail and was very welcoming from the start! The service was amazing as well and the food hit the spot. On the way out Veronica followed up on how out experience was and I’m happy to say I will be back!

We were at Racks on 07 September 2019. The staff was very friendly and attending. This was our experience: We were encouraged to wait for Happy Hour so that we could get their highly recommended Crab Cake and oysters at "cheap prices" so in the meantime we ordered 2 Bloody Mary's. We were not asked if we wanted to upgrade and found our bill had an upsell of added to it. We ordered a "Fish Dip" while we waited for the happy hour. The portion was substantial but the dip was fishy tasting all right. When the happy hour arrived we ordered the Crab cage which for "fabulous" had no taste, we also ordered 2 dozen oysters which we had been told would be fabulous and they were small and dry and full of shells particles. We brought this to management's attention and they did not care. It was sad, because the place was very charismatic and real good at upselling without letting you know there were hidden charges. Careful here and make sure you understand what you are buying.

Exquisite and delicious. Great for special occasions. Everything from crisp seafood to sushi rolls. King sized scallops and tasty fish tacos. Everyone is welcome and service staff are genuine and couteuous. Breathtaking countryside views in dining area. I was impressed
