Portside Breakfast & Lunch

Was excited to try this new cafe/restaurant as there are not alot of breakfast/brunch places out that way......and they did NOT disappoint!!!! They hit on every level! As soon as you walk in, you are immediately greeted by a friendly hostess and a warm smile. The atmosphere is simple yet elegant. They offer inside and outdoor seating. The outdoor patio is nicely decorated and very inviting. Inside is bright and cheerful and impeccably clean as well. Their menu is small but offers a great selection of breakfast, brunch and lunch. I opted for breakfast and went with their unique French Toast casserole. Nice size portion, slightly crunchy on the outside and super soft and delicious on the inside. Great flavor, not dense at all, with a perfect light and airy texture. My husband went with the bacon cheeseburger and fries. I was impressed by the size (not every girl can say that lol)! The bacon was crispy, the burger was juicy and full of flavor. We also shared the lemon ricotta beignets which was a lovely surprise. Slight crunch on the outside and pure heaven inside with just a hint of lemon, dusted with powdered sugar and drizzled with a creamy chocolate espresso fondue. Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and made good suggestions. The owner, Franky was walking around, greeting all the customers, taking his time to make aure everyone was satisfied and it was easy to see his dedication and passion. The entire staff is friendly and helpful and all appear to work well together. I highly recommend everyone giving them a try. I hope they are around for a long time because it's not often you find restaurants these days with excellent food, terrific service, and a welcoming atmosphere. They are doing it right folks, don't miss out!!!!!

My family and I always try and go to mom and pop restaurants to help support local businesses instead of fast food places or chain restaurants. And this is definitely a mom and pop restaurant id go back to. I heard about this restaurant from a few people and decided to go try it and loved it! Restaurant is clean, food tasted amazing, and the staff was right there when you needed something. Very family oriented for the customers and staff. Loved everything!! But you must try the chicken sandwich, ask for extra sauce.

First time there with a friend for breakfast. Service was great. Food was good. They're very open to suggestions as they're a new business. Definitely recommend checking out

Good morning! What an amazing little eatery. Inside & outside dining. Exceptional customer service, (long lost art these days (IMO). The topper, the food! Wow! I had the French toast casserole. It was amazing. Home style done professionally. I can’t remember the last time I wrote a review or had an experience at a business, where every important part of that business was exceptional. There is usually some part of it that needs a lot of work. You’d expect it from a newer business like Portside Breakfast & Lunch. Not the case here. I would say that PB & L, (Portside Breakfast & Lunch), is the total package … Customer service, Ambiance, Food, & Pricing … 5 ⭐️’s on ALL accounts! Thank you for an excellent meal & experience PB & L!!

Honest to god best breakfast place I’ve eaten at in years! Food depending on foot traffic may take a little bit longer than you’re used to but the quality is out of this world! You will not regret the wait! Went there two days in a row and if it wasn’t for work I would have gone more! 10 out of 10 STRONGLY RECOMMEND!
