Tropical Smokehouse

Our takeout order the other night was great – ½ rack of ribs with plus an order of brisket. BBQ is in my wheelhouse and I have to say the ribs were some of the best I’ve had locally. They weren’t drowning in sauce so you could really taste the meat. In fact my wife who typically doesn’t eat BBQ loved the food so that’s all the endorsement you need. The portions were large and we even had leftovers. Strongly recommended and we’ll be back.

Back at it again - enjoying Tropical Smokehouse! There is something about this place that makes you feel at home. The energy, the amazing staff, the incredible food...the list can go on and on. Rick has definitely brought soul back into Palm Beach with this new BBQ edition. My favorite is the Mac & Cheese... creamy, warm, and simply delicious ( a must have every single time I go). The Carrot Cake is on the top of my list for a sweet treat, I was never a fan of carrot cake until I tried it here! Highly recommend trying everything on the menu.

I don’t know where to start. I think we sampled everything on the menu. Everything we tried was amazing. The cheeseburger was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Great atmosphere, the food came out in a timely manner. Service was outstanding. We will definitely be coming back soon!

While I sure miss the previous establishment that was here, Tropical is one fabulous replacement! The hush puppies were quite unique in that they were a delicious marriage of corn bread and a biscuit. Perfect flakiness and just the right amount of sweet. Not the normal hard fried dough balls one normally finds. The burger was cooked to perfection. A beautiful char flavor snd just delicious. The smoked salmon came out super moist with the skin a perfect crisp. Excited to go back and try more!
