Seaside Cotee River Landing

The place looks great. The service and staff are awesome. The food is awful. The menu is pretentious. Low quality ingredients for gourmet prices. Imagine a restaurant that's surrounded by fish markets, and even has boat slips with shrimp boats out back and they use frozen, precooked farm raised cocktail shrimp. The BLT has bacon bits on it. Not a a single strip of crisp bacon. Chewy bacon bits. Who charges $15 for a sandwich with bacon bits and cheap frozen shrimp? The seaside. The ceviche is not a ceviche. It's that same chewy flavorless shrimp with spring mix and pico. It makes no sense. If you don't know what ceviche is, don't put it on your menu.

I give it 3 stars because of the staff and the scenery, but they need to fire whoever came up with that menu. BBQ sauce on pork nachos? Are you kidding me? Great place to have a drink and watch the sunset but eat before you get there. The food was terrible and overpriced.
