Steak 'n Shake

The burger was very good. The fries were not like they usually are HOT , this, crunchy, and delicious. Today they tasted a day old, cold, limp. Not good today! There beans and cookie were great! There problem came in with the two cashier's. We ordered of the menu, so we thought. We ordered the doubled steak cheeseburger, fries, baked beans and cookie. I had a coupon for a free soft drink if you ordered a double steak cheeseburgers sandwich. Well at the cashier they would not honor the coupon because they said it wasn't off the menu. I did order off the menu they brought me. What are they talking about? I asked politely to explain and the cashier walked away in a huff saying that's the way it is and they are not going to credit my soda. There cashier at the till got real snotty too. This was just a soda guys. I have frequented this restaurant and live close. Not necessary to treat your patrons this way. Steak n Shake needs to make clear the conditions of their coupons now with their specials. It does not look like you can use their coupons anymore. So steak n Shake save yourself some money and quit printing them and frustrating us!

S & S is the best In the industry. You won't have your food ready in 45 seconds, but it's worth the wait. Angela/Angie made my experience jump from 4 to 5 stars, she goes the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need and you will feel like you're her only customer.

I love coming here. The windows are always open, letting light flood in, bathing the piece in sheer an unadulterated Florida sunshine. ????

The staff is knowledgeable and they are super careful my weird allergy. The food is delicious. It's much less greasy then other steak and shakes.

I love the convenient location.

The staff is attentive. Even when they are going stir crazy from demanding Yahoo's here on vacation, these saints somehow keep their temper. I certainly never could. I the several years I've been going there, they've only messed up my order once and that was a new kind still I training.

There was one time I felt utterly ignored and, funny enough, the one that ignored customers and mumbled about them where they were easily heard, doesn't work there any more.

Great place/do recommend.

Why a 3 star??... The place is awesome, clean, organized!!! The service with out any doubt is far great!!!.. but, when you go out to eat the thing most is important is the food. Presentation, it was pretty good, with a fast service.. the flavor... NOT SO GOOD. The hamburger needs more seasoning.. so you can enjoy the Meal at maximum!!!
