Banyan Cafe and Catering on MLK

Great little cozy place with amazing food and friendly staff. I’ve only ever had the delicious breakfast burrito but friends that I have brought have always been delighted with the whatever they have gotten. There is inside and outside seating with lots of shade. It’s perfect for a quick bite or for hanging out and reading a book. I usually hope on my bike and take MLK all the way. They have a bike lock area, which anyone who bikes knows can be a challenge to find in some places. It’s a great place!

I adore this place. Killer food and a great atmosphere. The folks are always so friendly and accommodating. I come here often and work from my laptop and have a delicious cup of coffee (not to mention giant soup bowl cut cups) and have a chat. Or I will sit outside with the pooch (doggy bowls provided). If it’s the weekend you MUST order the grit special - sooooo gooooood!

The staff is friendly, warm, and welcoming. The two sisters at the front are enormously accommodating, upbeat, and beyond pleasant. We love coming here on the weekends and even if they look super busy, our food is always quick, piping hot, and delicious. Also, get the grits!

This place is absolutely awesome! The coffee is great, they use buddy brew and they make it perfectly! I always get he Carmel latte and have never been let down.

The breakfast sandwich and the burrito are the best! They FILL both of them and it will keep you full until lunch. Then when you go back for lunch the grilled goat cheese sandwich or the Ruben are so good!

You have to stop in it’s a very warm and cute environment the staff is friendly and nice. Cute hidden gem!
