Sunday brunch was excellent and so was our service. We didn't realize that the regular menu was unavailable and the kitchen is closed for ordering. Brunch is a buffet only but it was delicious. I'll definitely return

First timers to Callaloo & pleasantly surprised. The servers were very attentive w/o being over bearing. Tried the Hurricane Shrimp App. which was spot on. Many different flavors that all worked well together. It was the 1st time we ever ordered Chicken & Waffles. The fried chicken was very good & I ate the waffles as dessert. My Stuffed Chicken special w/ loaded mashed taters was also on point. The prices were fair & portion sizes large. The only reason for 4 & not 5 stars was a bad glass of wine. Not sure what Bella Rouche Rose is supposed to taste like, but it wasn't very good. And at $12 - the only sour (literally) part of the meal.

Food was great for a buffet style Sunday brunch. Ambiance was good. The live jazz music was enjoyable as well. Had a great experience.

The food and atmosphere was great. Everyone at my table got something different so I tried a few things. Everything was excellent. Loved the shrimp and grits.

Let me say up front, I went with a large group on a night which seemed to have little activity. I expected great service which we got but what I ate was okay.
I'm a self proclaimed foodie. I enjoy a well seasoned, well made, well presented meal.
I ordered shrimp and grits. I usually know better but wanted to give it a try. The grits were watery and the shrimp was not well seasoned. HOWEVER, the smoked tomatoes were amazing and saved the dish. The chocolate cake was rich and delicious but was not moist enough. The guava and whipped cream dollops saved the flan.
The french fries my child had were great. She started that they were seasoned well and delicious. She had ribs which were a good size but seemed to need less sauce and to be more tender. I don't eat ribs so I cannot comment on taste.
Overall, they get three stars for atmosphere, service, and creativity with ingredients. I'll give them another try, someday.
