“Recently, my family had the kindest interaction with a gentleman that I believe was named Robert (he was tall and looked like he could be a manager). While we were paying our bill at the cash register, he took us by surprise by asking us what pie we liked. He then proceeded to box up a whole pie for us to take home for free! He made our night! We had just been sitting in a booth discussing a stressful situation over coffee moments before this interaction took place. We are overjoyed by the kindness and are now loyal customers.”

The whole staff is always smiling and having a good time. I actually had an issue in the past and it was a pleasure to see that the management contacted me to resolve it, comped me a meal, and the next time I came to visit the issue was resolved. “Both food and service were fantastic. The food was authentic, delicious, and beautifully presented. I adore tamales, and they are impossible to find, but Red Mesa has them! The only disappointment was the taco salad, but as everything else was so good, it didn't matter (and the staff graciously took it off the tab). As well, I remember this business when it opened in the 90's. Kudos to Red Mesa for longevity!”

Only criticism would be the new remodeling. It's a winner!”

“This is my second visit and I will keep coming back. I have no experience with Serbian cuisine beyond this restaurant, but I’ve enjoyed the chicken breast and the beef kabob sandwiches I’ve tried. The bread is so light and fluffy! The meat is beautifully seasoned. This is a hole in the wall place, nothing fancy, but the owner is very friendly with a warm welcoming smile. There are a couple outdoor seats and family style seating inside. I look forward to trying other things on the menu.”

Staff brought a bowl of water for puppy then warm chocolate chips cookie for us. Who would of thought chocolate chips cookies and tacos went so well together. Haven’t had tacos this good since Texas.”
