Jay Luigi

This place is legit! The pizza is amazing AND they have gluten free options! Not to mention the impeccable service. You place your order upon entering and then they bring your food to the table. Most places that do this never have anyone come and check on you after you've gotten your food but that is not the case at Jay Luigi's. The staff are extremely helpful and personable. Each time we've been, it felt like they were actually thrilled we were there and enjoyed checking on us.
Jay Luigi's has got it going on. Go check them out. They also offer complementary valet parking and the attendant is just as friendly and helpful as the staff in the restaurant.

Jay Luigi is quickly becoming my favorite restaurant in St.Pete. I’m from NYC and have very high expectations for international food.

Jay Luigi is always on point! I’m Italian and LOVE Italian food but I’m also a health nut. The cauliflower Risotto bowls are a game changer. Never over cooked, cheesy, filling and fresh! The meatballs and chicken are also on point. I’m often grossed out by chicken especially when it’s thick and chewy. Jay Luigi’s chicken is thin and pounded perfectly. Lightly breaded and not greasy or heavy.

I didn’t love at first having to order and pay at the counter before sitting and being served but I love that it allows for the food to come out fresh when it made.

Jay Luigi is a must try while in St. Pete!

I LOVE THIS NEW SPOT. Pasta was PRIME. We had three different dishes and all of them were INCREDIBLE. Local beers on tap, a small bar top with TVs if you want to watch a game. Nice patio area as well. Owner happened to be in and was an absolute pleasure to chat with. Love what they're doing here and I only see great things for them here.

This is not your average Italian food. The menu explores flavor and quality ingredients. I was just saying we needed more quality food restaurants in the area just north of downtown St Pete and Jay Luigi is setting a high bar! From crust to cheese and sauce the pizzas are designed to be fantastic. It takes half a week of prep using manually selected ingredients and old Italian recipes to make the crust come to life. I don't know any other place in town that makes pizza even close to this good.

We loved meeting Jay in his new restaurant. It is set up for quick turn-around. You order at the counter, find a table (limited) inside or out, and await your order to come to the table. Because of my husband's handicap, Jay came to us, took our order, and in his very attentive, pleasant personality, made suggestions.
The food was amazing! Fresh, hot, delicious. Too bad there is no spot for people who want to dine, rather than eat. Can't wait to go back!
